OK, so you may want to know a little more about me... Well, hum where do I begin. I am a mom of a very creative 9 year old daughter and am a wife to a computer programmer, who consequently is my biggest fan. I'm a big HGTV fan and my favorite designer is Candice Olsen. And my favorite thing of all is my relationship with family and friends and sharing the Love of God, my savior Jesus with them!

As a child, I was dreaming of how to re-design the home we lived in. I would wake up in the middle of the night with ideas of taking a wall out here or adding a wall there. I grew up in a small, one blinking traffic light town and my dad often said, "Girl you better get a degree in something that pays!" So of course I listened to my sweet dad and became a school teacher and later a school counselor, almost completing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy! I enjoyed this work and did it for years and years but.... the dream of designing continued to live and even grow!

So my mind started to tick tick tick and I wondered what would happen if... yep you guessed it, I went back to college to pursue a design degree. This dream finally became a reality as I am on my way to the degree I always dreamed of. The one I was born to complete - design :)
